Hi guys, I just wanted to add my own 2 cents here - IMO organic placement has become more and more an instant by instant game and you really never know where the hell you are located on the SERPs.
I know for a fact that positioning is very volatile within the same country: many times I have been on the phone with Clients and they are seeing a different set of results. To make matters worse your browser will have an impact on what you are seeing as well. I browse with Flock and can see different results with Internet Explorer, results that may change depending also on the version of the same browser (Mac or windows) ... pin pointing rankings is very difficult not to say impossible (never say never).
I think your best bet is to track your performance with analytics or more simply with some good old statistics for starters - there you will actually see where you're getting the traffic from: chasing SERP eresults is pie in the sky ...
