Default I recommend on Joomla
Joomla is an open-source CMS. Basically it doesn't support multi lingos but you can add a component (free) called JommFish

Joomla! is a decent CMS and it is quite possible to optimise it succesfully (we have a fair bit of experience with this) but I must stress that it is thus far not the most SEO friendly CMS out there.
Unlike a CMS such as DeepC, Joomla! was not originally developed with SEO compatibility in mind.

How about Drupal? Drupal is pretty SEO friendly, with Pathauto modules and the ability to specify your own URL's. There is certainly a lot of discussion on multilingual modules on the Drupal forums, although I am not sure if anything has actually been built yet.

I just came across one last week for e-commerce sites. Looks far better than OSc, Zen Cart etc. It is called Magento:

Hi all,
based on my experience I'd say that Joomla! is a great CMS but not so easy to use. If your personnel is not very software/ programming oriented, then they might find it very hard to use (this has been my experience).

Joomla! is a very stable and complex piece of software that may require significant training as well as a good systems engineering support who can interpret your needs and install the right additional modules (like JFish that has been mentioned herein).

I think the first and most important activity should be to identify needs and functionalities and then choose a CMS

I am totally agree with Peter that Joomla is a perfect CMS and easy to optimize. But it need some modifications in order to make it SEO friendly.

Hi,
I am completely agree with you that Joomla is best CMS for all kind of sites. I have some online marketing sites which are Joomla based. Moreover it has search engine friendly features.

Joomlas is better because It is safer, it supports multilingual sites, it offers great back-end and much more..
