On Friday there was a post on the Natural Search Blog about case sensitive queries on google - read the post here.
I have tried running a few queries in Italian (really just a few) but didn't come up with anything and I was wondering if anyone else may have (or would like to) attempt emulating the experiment they ran on Natural Search and perhaps get back to us with your findings ... I find it hard to believe GG would really want to reintroduce case sensitive queries and tend to believe it's more or a bug than anything else. |

i don't think this is something they would do generally - however i think there's an issue with trademarks that has forced their hand
take 'spam' for example. Spam is a trademark of a company spam is the term for junk-email. This seems to make sense, as the examples in the post that you linked are based on having an upper-case first letter as the only difference. |
