Today on Google Blogoscoped there was this post: "Google Chrome, Google’s Browser Project".

Google is close to launch Google Chrome, Google’s open source browser project based on the existing rendering engine Webkit.
Within the 38 pages of a comic book drawn by Scott McCloud, Google gives the technical details of this project.
Apparently the launch of a beta version of Chrome will be this evening (UK time) but so far the article points to a broken link.

No more than 2 days ago Mozilla has extended its agreement with Google over the default search settings in Firefox by a further three years.

a bit bizarre.. we'll see...

is anybody think that google chrome is beneficial or not ?

Every thing has some weaknesses. Google chrome is fast responsive and light in weight. But it not supports MSN. It have no any status bar. no any google pr option and many other things which people need.

i always prefer safari browser because i am using it since 5 years and i didnt feel any spy and virus attack from browser, because its disable the addons and thatswhy, try to use it

google chrome is another web browser launched from google. it is faster and easy to acces..u get better information in google chrome. it is the advanced version of google search.google bar does not support msn bar..and this is one of the best among search engines.
