Default Is Google buying GoDaddy?

Biggest Internet Company can become even more powerfull if after long relations with biggest domain name registrant it will finally buy GoDaddy. The information about domain owner is planned to be used to rank sites and arrange SERPs.

Default Google is a domain registrar

Anton,

Both Google and Microsoft are already domain registrars - though they don't offer domains for sales as far as I know yet.

And certainly Google looks at the domain information as part of its spam protection processes.

Doesn't mean to say they won't buy GoDaddy anyway!

Andy

Default Google deals with online commercials, Godday doesn’t

YouTube at least have a space for text-adds
Where can you add text-adds in Godaddy? On the admin panel?

There has been no mention of Google buying godaddy as of yet! I know this is an old post, but Microsoft does allow you to register domains see Microsoft Office Live:

Also recently Google and Godaddy have announced a partnership which I am sure will add to the tin hat brigades worries.

I think that partnership was about providing Google free promotion codes to users of Godaddy.

In fact I received a redeem voucher of $20 to set up Google account, but I am unable to use it.

They first require me to chip in my credit card details.

as for as Google is concerned, they have no plan to buy godaddy.com
they already have huge business.
Google have no interest to give domain hosting.

How about GoDoodle instead of Godaddy.

I am sure Google will add features like SANDBOX on web hosting too.

If any company is flouting SEO rules, their hosting will get SANDBOXED
