Default At this point Russian is ahead of Japanese - can't be right

I notice that at this point Russian is winning over Japanese - which I am little surprised about. I was wondering if this might be because we have a large number of Russian members - perhaps trying to promote the need for Russian expertise?

Seriously, can't get my head around Russian being more difficult than Japanese? Japanese has 3 different character sets and uses Chinese characters too.

Let's take a second look at this one!

It simple math- if you have more competitor the competition is harder

Default A linguistic view of language

Shasha95,

Agree with your point - but the intention here was to look at the language itself - all other things ie competition - being equal.
