Default English to English translation

Does anybody know of a good (and of course cheap) english to english translator (or "rephraser")? Currently I'm using text from Wikipedia and World fact book on my website, but to avoid duplicate content I need the text translated. I have heard of prices close to 5 pounds per 400 words.

Can anybody help me?

Default Deduplication services

Georgh, we call this deduplication and we do have a member of the team who does this work - but she does a superb job - and the price is also superb Well it's a bit more than £5 per 000 words. I think when you get to that level of price, you're looking more at automated translation - and the results are not pretty!

Cheers, Andy

If you are looking at that price range you will most likely want to venture into the Indian market where you can get copy done starting from USD 10,00 per page (a page would be just about the 400 words you mentioned in your post).

I have had mixed feedback from people who have relied on services from companies in that region - the bottom line is the pricing you are looking at is very very low

I am wondering if you want the content as a mere filler of interested in developing keyword focused pages

If you don't mind low quality (beurk !), for MFA websites for example (beurk ! beurk !), you can use an automated translation tool this way :
english -> french -> english

This tip show you how aproximative automated translation are.
