Does someone know the marketshares of the big s'engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) in italy? Are there any national ones worth to mention?

Like most elsewhere in Europe, Google has a ridiculous share of the market. Generally speaking, if you wish to know about top portals people are using in Italy I suggest you review this publication with the latest information:

hi guys, first post here

Google is by far the most used search engine in Italy.
there are a couple of national portals, but they use Google for search (though they put many adwords on top of serp - and not well identified as sponsored...).

ranking well on Google is almost everything you need if you want traffic from search engines in Italy.
