Although Google and Facebook are not the same thing, the truth is that people are spending more time in Facebook, or making it the main page where they do things like searching, watching videos, sending messages and also chatting. I have been a Google and an msn heavy user, but I must confess that most of my communications on the past weeks have been through Facebook (including normal messages vs. using email). I wonder if Facebook adds a better searchbox to include results from the web (but not only from Facebook or Social Media) if people would use it more as their entry page for any application or search...
